What is "innocence offending"?
Innocence offending is when anyone treats a wrongly convicted innocent person as if they are guilty, such as abridging their rights under color of law because of their false status as a 'felon'. An 'innocence offender' refers to anyone who mistreats the wrongly convicted innocent person as if they are guilty.
